Mage Knight: Apocalypse Diary #5
RPG Vault is offering up a fifth diary for Namco’s Mage Knight: Apocalypse, this time with senior producer Dave Georgeson discussing the game’s forging and recipe systems.
On the other side of the tradeskills available, there are potion Recipes that you can gather. Either by finding them as loot, or by purchasing them from stores, characters can eventually learn all kinds of recipes, finding ways to create potions for simple health and power potions, elemental resistance, stat boosts, or even speed or attack increasing ones. This is also the method that the dwarven character uses to create grenades of all types, traps and bombs.
To create potions, you basically need a stock of reagents. These can be comprised of machine parts, various magestone powders, and herbs… lots of herbs. The various reagents are combined into a container of some sort (flasks, vials, shells and more) according to the various recipes that you learn along the way.
