Some additional information:

Greetings Planeswalkers! Over the last year, the Magic: Legends development team here at Cryptic Studios has been working closely with our nearly 100,000 Closed Alpha testers to ensure that the game’s signature spell-slinging combat feels powerful, the progression feels meaningful, and overall – that we’re offering a fun experience! We have also collaborated closely with Wizards of the Coast, so that the Multiverse we take you to stays true to that of the franchise you know and love. We have spent months consuming all sorts of feedback, and building on Magic: Legends until we felt it was worthy to live up to the heritage of Magic: The Gathering.
