Mass Effect 3: Omega DLC Wii U Release Not in the Plans

Thanks to a tweet from the official Mass Effect 3 twitter account, we learn that, at least for now, the upcoming Omega DLC for the sci-fi action-RPG threequel isn’t planned for release on Nintendo’s most recent console, the Wii U.

For that matter, a Wii U release of the Mass Effect Trilogy bundle doesn’t seem in the plans either for now:

@masseffect Will the Omega DLC be available on Wii U on the 27th? Or will it only be on the PS3 and Xbox 360 then?

@WaveTradeInc Unfortunately it will not be available for Wii U.

@masseffect Will the original Mass Effect and/or Mass Effect 2 be released for Wii U? I’m happy for ME3 but it’d be cool to play those too

@WaveTradeInc We don’t have anything to announce at this time, but we’ll definitely keep you posted if something comes up!

@masseffect ok, I can understand that. Will there at least be any Mass Effect DLC (multiplayer or single) for Wii U? Besides what’s on disc

@WaveTradeInc Never say never. 🙂

Thanks, Eurogamer.
