Neverwinter Nights 2 Reviews

Yet another pair of reviews for Obsidian’s Neverwinter Nights 2 surfaced on the web over this past weekend. The first is at Gamehelper with an overall score of 7.8/10:

Minor gripes aside, Neverwinter Nights 2 is a more-than-worthy successor to the first game, delivering an exciting story and fun characters. The adventures are suitably epic and the danger is plentiful enough to keep even the most hardened role-player on his or her toes.

While the second is at eToychest with an overall score of 91%:

Glitches aside, Neverwinter Nights 2 is still an excellent product on many fronts. It offers a rare, deep developer experience, a very good single player RPG campaign, the ability to play these online, and the ability to use Neverwinter Nights 2 within a dungeon master framework, creating one’s own persistent campaign piece-by-piece. The graphical quality is a bit less than what many probably expected from the long awaited sequel, and the current performance isn’t yet as smooth as would be ideal, but with time, just as with the original Neverwinter Nights, players are likely to be treated with a vast amount of content that will make a purchase worthwhile.
