Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition Announced

Just a few days after squelching the rumors about them making a new Planescape game, the folks at Beamdog come out with a new unexpected announcement – they’re currently working on an Enhanced Edition of BioWare’s Neverwinter Nights. This was supposed to be revealed today at 12 PM PST on Twitch, but thanks to some less than honorable people, the bugbear, as Beamdog puts it, is out of the bag already. The livestream is still happening though, and you might want to tune in to Beamdog’s Twitch channel at 12 PM PST for some “developer secrets and prize giveaways.”

So far we know that Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition will contain all the content of the Diamond Edition and offer such additional features like 4K resolution, adjusted interface, visual improvements, backwards compatibility with old modules and save games, and more. It will be priced at $19.99 or your regional equivalent and is already available for pre-order on Beamdog’s website.

EDMONTON, ALBERTA – November 21, 2017. Video game developer Beamdog has announced the return of a classic. Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition is now available to pre-order on Beamdog for $19.99 USD and is available to wishlist on Steam.

As of November 21, 2017, Beamdog will begin selecting lucky fans from the pre-order pool on Beamdog.com for the Head Start program. This program allows pre-order owners to play, import modules, and update persistent world servers early.
