UPCOMING EVENTS

In this segment Phil Bolus joins Katy Kaszynski to discuss the ongoing Rabbits’ Revenge event and the “heckin good loot” players can hunt for! If you haven’t checked out the event yet, you can earn Diamond Gypsum, luck consumables, and perhaps even a mythically rare rabbit themed storage chest. Phil drops some hints that more events are in the works, so make sure you stay tuned to future Dev videos!

LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT UPDATE

Dave Hall, David Verfaille, and Dan Henuber cover three topics players have been asking for more information on— general updates on PvP, the upcoming 3v3 arena feature, and the Expedition group finder. David Verfaille launches into a discussion on the upcoming PvP track feature, which will comprehensively reward all types of PvP activity. David Hall then dives into the upcoming 3v3 matches, a new, smaller-scale tactical take on New World PvP combat, and shares some details like the ‘Ring of Fire’ mechanic that forces action if players are too passive. Dan Henuber wraps up this section by sharing some specifics on how players will be better equipped to team up for Expeditions with the new group finder tool.

COMMUNITY QUESTIONS

Katy Kaszynski joins David Hall to answer some questions sourced from the community. Katy dives into questions about server transfers, including an update on upcoming regional transfers and paid server transfers for players— while emphasizing the team’s focus on ensuring it’s prepared right for players. Dave Hall then discusses weapon balance, the current state of the Bow, and some things the combat team is looking at — such as rate of fire, damage, and how the abilities feel.

WRAPPING UP

After the Community Question segment, Scot Lane and Tina wrap up the Dev video, sharing some fun statistics for the 6th month anniversary of New World’s launch – such as 33,427 Wars and nearly 8 million Expeditions completed since launch, alongside a few more!
