New XCOM Project Teased

Kotaku brings us news that Firaxis has teased their “next big project” at their PAX East panel this weekend, and there’s no need to have a particularly keen eye to notice the transparent XCOM references in the video they have captured.

What exactly this is supposed to be is up in the air at this point: A sequel? An expansion? A DLC? I’d be inclined to write off the last option given that they call it their “next big project” but who knows.
