Obsidian Will Pitch Their Star Wars RPG Idea to EA

According to an article on Rock, Paper, Shotgun with a few brief snippets from Feargus Urquhart, Obsidian is going to pitch their own Star Wars RPG idea to Electronic Arts, who now holds exclusive rights to make new Star Wars games. Not exactly unexpected, but nice to hear confirmation:

(As for Disney, we didn’t end up talking with them directly, since we were waiting to see what might happen with the license as a whole,) Urquhart explained to RPS.

(We are certainly going to try,) he said. (We would love to work on another Star Wars game, and if it was possible for us to hook up with BioWare and EA to do so, that would be pretty amazing.)

Obsidian’s track record with AAA projects has definitely been hit-and-miss, but there’s certainly potential for another Star Wars RPG developed by Obsidian, as long as there’s space for it in EA’s future strategy.
