Obsidian’s 10th Project Revealed, New Jersey Was Seven Dwarves

We’ve known for some time now that Project New Jersey was tentatively titled “Seven Dwarves” before its cancellation, but in case you missed that informational nugget previously, it gets mentioned again in this thread on NeoGAF that also points to the resume of ex-Obsidian artist Cochey Cantu for a few scant details about Project Virginia. This is the game Feargus briefly mentioned to me during my E3 2010 interview, and if the resume is to be believed, it’s slated for release later this year:

Project Virginia (2011 Release)
– Helped identify visual style
– Led a small team of artists to accomplish artistic goals
– Worked under tight deadlines to get small internal project in order for release

As Virginia is 10th state admitted to the Union, Project Virginia is Obsidian’s 10th project.
– 6 shipped titles: KotOR2 (Delaware), NWN2 (Pennsylvania), MotB (Massachusetts), SoZ, AP (Georgia), FNV
– 2 cancelled projects: Seven Dwarves (New Jersey), Aliens: Crucible (Connecticut)
– 1 announced title in development: DS3

If I was reading Feargus’ hints correctly during E3, I think this is going to be one project we definitely want to keep our eyes on.
