Serpent in The Staglands Update v17 Released

Update 17 for Serpent in the Staglands is now live. The folks at Whalenought Studios went for quality over quantity in this one and focused on a short list of issues, most notably the loading times, which, according to the developers, should now be decreased by 60-70%. Here’s the full changelog:

System

  • Load time optimization
  • Revamped ammunition system — for fringe cases of some equipped ammo disappearing on game loads

UI

  • Cursor can move off the edge of the screen in windowed mode in Windows

Gameplay

  • Stabilized fringe cases of temporarily de-syncing party order in inventory screen when a member is removed in certain conversations
  • Seraphim will allow you to retry to let him in your party after refusing him.
  • Various dialogue and NPC inventory tweaks

I must admit, apart from the de-synching party order, I have personally encountered all the mentioned issues during my playthrough of the previous version, so this update is good news across the board.
