It looks like Harebrained Schemes’ website is being hammered right now, so I haven’t been able to check if the DRM-free version of the title for backers is already available, but the the game has unlocked on Steam and is available for purchase at full price for €13.99/£14.99/$19.99, which means we can officially consider it released. If you don’t like purchasing on Steam, the title is also available on GamersGate.

Here’s a brief overview text, in case you haven’t follow the Kickstarter campaign and its post-funding coverage, or you just learned about Shadowrun Returns with this piece of news:

Elves, trolls, orks and dwarves walk among us, while ruthless corporations bleed the world dry. You are a shadowrunner – a mercenary living on the fringes of society, in the shadows of massive corporate arcologies, surviving day-by-day on skill and instinct alone. When the powerful or the desperate need a job done, you get it done… by any means necessary.
