Solasta: Crown of the Magister Updates, $159,240 and Counting

With slightly over two weeks to go, the Kickstarter campaign for Tactical Adventures’ CRPG Solasta: Crown of the Magister is still going strong, currently sitting at $159,240. With that in mind, in order to celebrate reaching the “75% funded” milestone, the campaign’s seventh update shares a bonus music track and announces a backer-exclusive in-game item. Here’s the track:

And some info on the “Spoon of Discord” item:

Additional Kickstarter Item available for All Backers: The Spoon of Discord!

Wait wait wait… The what now? Oh dear, it’s a long story. Well no, not really. See, in the early days of the Solasta Discord Server, a significant part of our community would always react to our News & Announcements with the Spoon emote. We’ve never quite understood why, but as time went by the Spoons thrived and multiplied… And so the team decided to honour the dedication of this Spoon-wielding cult and their Spoon-bending ways by giving the Spoon of Discord to everyone who backs the Kickstarter. What does it do? Well, no one knows for sure. You’ll just have to test that once the final game comes out…At your own risk.

Then, update #8 directs us to a poll that will determine the first additional class coming to the game once it gets fully funded. The classes to choose from are the Paladin and the Ranger. More on that:

Hello there folks!

You were many to ask for it, and we promised we’d give you a glimpse into the additional content we’re intending to bring with the Kickstarter Campaign’s completion! Starting now until Sunday 22nd, your votes will decide which class will be added first in Solasta: Crown of the Magister!

As a reminder, this additional class will be unlocked when we reach our Kickstarter Funding Goal of $200,000 / 180,000€.

Where to vote?

You have one vote per platform! We will count the votes at the end to see the total, so don’t hesitate to vote in all three places if you want to see your class win the race!
