Star Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed Preview

Jolt Online Gaming has written up a preview of Jump to Lightspeed, based upon what’s know about the Star Wars Galaxies expansion so far. An excerpt to follow:

The majority of space combat will be single player, with plenty of missions that are typical to the genre, such as escorting a supply ship or even launching attacks on huge enemy capital ships. There are said the be over 100 such missions, some of which have surface-based components, and players can pilot over 15 ships with more to be added through regular updates. From launch these will include X-wings, Y-wings, TIE Fighters and even YT-1300s (Millennium Falcon look-alikes). There will be PvP, too, but it will be entirely consensual.
