Star Wars: KotOR II Reviews

FileFront and Darkstation are the latest websites to bring us reviews for Obsidian’s Star Wars: KotOR sequel. FileFront gives the game an overall score of 4/5:

I feel like I could nitpick at this game all day long. The load times suck, especially when traveling in some indoor sections. There are framerate issues, and overall the game can have a clunky feel to it. By no means does this game have a real polished look that makes it a truly spectacular title. But if you can look past the little issues, you have a wonderfully crafted RPG that has an incredibly deep story, with the ability to behave and interact with other characters in so many different ways. Just that alone gives the behemoth of a game even more replay value. And if you haven’t played the first one, do yourself a favor and pick that one up first. In either case though, you won’t be disappointed.

And Darkstation gives the game an overall score of 9/10:

Although KOTOR 2 is nowhere near as revolutionary or as breathtaking as the first, it still is a great game. It’s hard to hide the fact that the game has great replay value, excellent gameplay mechanics, and a very intuitive storyline. If you were a fan of the first go out and purchase this game now!
