Star Wars: KotOR II Reviews

Yet another trio of positive reviews have surfaced for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. The first is at WorthPlaying with an overall score of 9.5/10:

In the final analysis, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords is the best RPG to come out since its illustrious prequel, a worthy follow-up to a grand title that has true replay value, gorgeous presentation, and depth that most other games wouldn’t dream of attempting. Buy it, play it, love it.

The second is at GameBiz with an overall score of 90%:

KOTOR 2 is a stylish and well written game. But as noted previously, it is flawed on the implementation side. Perhaps it’s bad programming, or just the result of a rushed release, but there are definite conflicts/holes between the storyline and the game that become obvious as you play. Because of this the game isn’t nearly as good or immersive as it could have been. That aside; it’s very addictive, very fun, it looks brilliant, and it’s almost certainly the best PC RPG since the original KOTOR. Longevity wise the game takes 25+ hours play for completion by an experienced RPG power gamer.

And the third is at PC Gameworld with an overall score of 81%:

Obsidian plays it safe by keeping the game much like the first and they succeed in maintaining most of the good things about the original. However by not fixing some of the games most glaring problems and without any real advancement this game ultimately falls short of the standard set by the original.
