Temple of Elemental Evil Review

ZDNet Australia has posted a review of Temple of Elemental Evil, giving Troika’s RPG an overall score of 8/10. An excerpt to follow:

D&D fanatics are the target audience for TOEE and for the most part Troika have nailed the risky proposition of following the latest rules through every dotted ‘i’ and crossed ‘t’. The casual RPG fan will, however, sink out of their depth, especially as they search for a rich, stand alone plot while struggling through the many superfluous but annoying bugs. On top of this, TOEE is unlikely to draw new fans to the complex D&D cocktail due to its harsh learning curve. Well presented and craftily designed we can only hope Troika dip more often into the mainstream and at the very least, get a patch out soon.
