The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion E3 Preview

Yahoo! Games Domain is next in line with a preview of Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, after seeing a demo of the RPG at this year’s E3. Check it out:

From the first glimpse of Oblivion, there’s no doubt that this is a next-gen RPG. The first-person camera shows off a wealth of detail. Filigree gleams on the player’s sword, and multiple textures on each surface give depth to stone and wood. Soft edged shadows play across each surface, and it’s all delivered in 1080i. Extensive forests are “grown” by the game engine, and animated with real-time weather effects.
