The Elder Scrolls Online The Imperial City DLC Available on Xbox One and PS4

A post on the official The Elder Scrolls Online forums brings word that ZeniMax Online has released their The Imperial City DLC on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms, providing even more adventure for those of you checking out the fantasy MMORPG on the latest console platforms. Access details are below:

This week, the Imperial City DLC game pack is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation®4! To help prepare you for the journey, we wanted to provide you with everything you need to know to start your new adventure:

Purchasing the Imperial City DLC game pack:
The Imperial City DLC game pack can be purchased for 2500 crowns in the in-game Crown Store (available for Xbox One on 9/15, and for PlayStation®4 on 9/16). Alternately, access to the Imperial City DLC game pack is included with an active ESO Plusâ„¢ membership. If you do not have an active ESO Plusâ„¢ membership, you can use crown packs to purchase the Imperial City DLC game pack. Crown packs can be purchased directly from the Xbox Games Store or PlayStation Store, respectively.

Xbox One players:

  • Press [Menu] to open the Player Menu while in-game
  • Navigate to the Crown Store sub-menu
  • Press [Y] to buy crown packs.

PlayStation®4 players:

  • Press [Options] to open the Player Menu while in-game
  • Navigate to the Crown Store sub-menu
  • Press [Triangle] to buy crown packs.

There is no additional download after you purchase the DLC. All of its content will automatically get installed as part of the patch. You can venture into the Imperial City as soon as it’s unlocked on your account either through purchasing with crowns or as part of your ESO Plusâ„¢ membership.

Accessing the Crown Store
You can access the Crown Store in-game by following these steps:

Xbox One players:

  • Press [Menu] to open the Player Menu while in-game
  • Navigate to the Crown Store sub-menu
  • Press [RB] to navigate to the DLC subcategory
  • Select “Imperial City”

PlayStation®4 players:

  • Press [Options] to open the Player Menu while in-game
  • Navigate to the Crown Store sub-menu
  • Press [R1] to nativate to the DLC subcategory
  • Select “Imperial City”

Assigning Home Campaign
Once you’ve purchased the Imperial City DLC game pack in-game, or received it as part of an active ESO Plusâ„¢ membership, you’ll need to assign a new home campaign as part of the Imperial City base-game patch, you’re provided a campaign reassignment. Once you’ve assigned a new home campaign, you’re ready to enter Cyrodiil and begin your journey to the Imperial City. To set your home campaign, follow these steps:

Xbox One players:

  • Open the Player Menu [Menu]
  • Navigate to the Social Menu
  • Navigate to the Group Menu
  • Navigate to the Alliance War Menu
  • Select the Campaign you wish to enter by using [X]
  • Set it as Home or Guest campaign, and then press [A] to validate.

PlayStation®4 players:

  • Open the Player Menu [Options]
  • Navigate to the Social Menu
  • Navigate to the Group Menu
  • Navigate to the Alliance War Menu
  • Select the Campaign you wish to enter by using [Square]
  • Set it as Home or Guest campaign, and then press [Cross] to validate.

How to Enter the Imperial City:
Now you’re ready to enter the Imperial City! You will need a character at or above level 10 in order to enter the zone. There are three entry locations to the Imperial Sewers in Cyrodiil. All three are located on the Lake Rumare coast and are indicated on the map by an icon of a dragon perched above a gate. To return to Cyrodiil, you must go through your alliance base in the Imperial Sewers.
