The Elder Scrolls Online Will Have a Microtransaction Store

During the course of a video interview with Buffed.de, ZeniMax Online general manager Matt Firor explained that The Elder Scrolls Online will feature a microtransaction shop for “fun stuff and services”, with the later defined as “name changes and things like that”, though he stressed that it’s not part of the “core game” and that anything related to it is included in the subscription price.

All in all, tt sounds a bit vague right now, so I guess we’ll have to wait and see how they implement it, and whether the store will include features that could be considered “pay to win”.

Thanks, The Escapist.
