CD Projekt’s official The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings website has been updated with several new screenshots showcasing a sinister-looking forest that we’ll be adventuring through in the sequel. This blurb accompanies the shots:

Huge, overwhelming, colorful? What the best in-game forest should be? In The Witcher 2 one of the forests ‘will be like another character of the game’ – said our senior producer. We are trying to make a forest a really great background for some serious and mature RPG action.
