Titan Quest Developer Blog #14

A fourteenth installment to the TQ Vault’s developer blog feature is now available, this time with Titan Quest artist Josh Singh discussing the game’s armor. An excerpt to follow:

In making the armor we looked at tons of reference from ancient Greece, Babylon, and Oriental armor designs. Many of the armors adhere strictly to the motifs and styles found in ancient times. But we also have many rare items that give unique bonuses and stats, and with some of these we were able to play up some of the more mythological aspects of the Titan Quest world. For example, you might find the Labyrinthine armor set, which will basically make your character look like a Minotaur from the Labyrinth in Knossos. Another example is the (Call of the Wild) armor set. Made of animal skins and furs, it’ll give you great bonuses if you are in the Nature skill tab as well as bonus damage against beasts and beastmen. Very cool indeed.
