Tom Clancy’s The Division to Receive DirectX 12 Support Next Week

In their most recent “State of the Game” announcement, Ubisoft has revealed plans to release a new patch for Tom Clancy’s The Division next week that will address a few notable issues while also enabling DirectX 12 support in the client. We also catch a brief amount of news about the forthcoming Update 1.6:

There was a maintenance today to perform the usual duties and deploy a fix.

– Fixed an issue where some players were not able to collect the reward for completing all side missions in a zone.

Next week we will be deploying a patch on PC to address a multitude of issues.

– Fixed the issue that caused the loss of character controls
– Lowered performance impact with high CPU usage
– Fixed issues with controllers on PC

This patch will also activate DirectX12 which should provide better optimization for higher resolutions. Please note that there is a known issue with DirectX12 where you are not able to change the brightness.
