Top 10 Infogrames Games of All Time

To celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary, IGN has whipped up a quick list of what they feel are the top ten games that Infogrames has been involved with over the years. Of interest to us are Drakkhen (#9) and Neverwinter Nights (#2):

Bioware’s Neverwinter Nights was published by Atari in 2002, ushering in a new revolution in PC RPGs. Based on the Forgotten Realms rules and setting inside the Dungeons & Dragons universe, Neverwinter Nights allows players to create and continuously customize their character as they quest (at first) for the cure to the Wailing Death plague. Before long, you’re wrapped up in a cult phenom and dealing in Words of Power relics that stand to shatter the world. The game looked magnificent (no surprise from BioWare) and the included toolset let player create their own modules to compliment the steady stream of expansion sets released in the following years.
