Wasteland 2 Xbox One Port Announced

It looks like the move to Unity 5 won’t just benefit the PC, Mac and Linux versions of Wasteland 2, but also the upcoming and just announced port of the Kickstarter-funded CRPG to Xbox One, titled Wasteland 2 – Game of the Year Edition. The announcement comes from a Microsoft GDC event.

Aside from being mentioned with other titles in Microsoft’s blog post, the game received its own Xbox One trailer that gives us an idea of some of the additions the game will receive: new Perks and Quirks, a new Precision Strike system, a lighting and art overhaul, updated character models, and new VO for major characters and CNPCs. Presumably all these additions will be included in the PC version of the game, as inXile has recently mentioned that the game would be receiving graphics and “character system” upgrades with its move to Unity 5.
