Wizardry 8 Review @ Stratos Group

The Stratos Group has written up a review of Sirtech’s latest Wizardry title, giving it an overall score of 4/5. Here’s a bit of what they had to say:

The creatures that you encounter in your travels cover the entire spectrum, and there is quite a variety of them. Their design shows imagination, and the animation given to both characters and beasties is superb and lifelike. They demonstrate one of the key features of Wizardry 8 that isn’t as easily summed up as its technical features. Everything shows a great deal of polish and effort, and you get the feeling that the designers really had a passion for their work when building this title, putting in that extra something that really gives the world a life and a spirit of its own – and this is something that is missing from so many games these days.
