World of Warcraft Race and BurgerCraft Announced

Blizzard Entertainment continues their usual April Fool’s joke tradition by announcing the Wisp race for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade and a new restaurant called BurgerCraft. The latter actually has a full press release:

IRVINE, Calif. — April 1, 2006 — Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. today unveiled BurgerCraftâ„¢, introducing the company’s latest business venture and revealing many details about the plans for its company-owned restaurant chain. The grand opening of the first BurgerCraft restaurant is set to take place on June 1, 2006 in downtown Los Angeles, California. At BurgerCraft, players will have a chance to truly taste the flavor of Blizzard’s games and savor traditional dishes from all the company’s popular game universes. BurgerCraft will be open to customers of all ages and will provide a fun environment for the whole family.
