World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade E3 Previews

A couple more E3 previews of Blizzard’s highly anticipated World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade have been posted to the ‘net. The first is at Ten Ton Hammer:

The ability to test some of the high level content was excellent! The look of Hellfire Peninsula is quite slick, with the Dark Portal on the other side being at least twenty times the size of the current portal. Flying mounts and other neat things were a hot commodity, but the main item of interest for the high-end content was the jewel crafting profession which allows enhancements for socketed items as well as the ability (finally) to make rings, neck pieces and fist weaponry.

And the second is at Joystiq:

We’ve played the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion — World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade — exploring both Draenei and Blood Elf starting areas. Anticipation is running high at the show, with many gamers flocking to the Vivendi stand as soon as the show opened.

The expansion was running smoothly on a Mac, with no visual UI changes, though there is the new Outland area to explore.
