World Rally Championship is Back with WRC 8!

After having been gone for two years, the iconic WRC game is back under the direction of Bigben and Kylotonn. WRC 8, FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) 2019 official video game will be available in September 2019 for xBox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Taking all the feedback they’ve received from the community and pointers from the eSports WRC Championship, Kylotonn has used this time wisely to take a look at all aspects of the game and make some major improvements. There’s new, better graphics, more technical routes, and a more in-depth career mode. WRC 8 have also made some pretty impressive improvements to both the steering and physics of the vehicles.

In WRC8 you have the full roster of drivers from the official teams of the 2019 season to choose from. There’s Sébastien Ogier (6 times World Champion) from Citroën Racing, accompanied by Esapekka Lappi. Toyota bring in Jari-Matti Latvala, Kris Meeke and Ott Tänak. Sébastien Loeb is returning for Hyundai Motorsport supporting Thierry Neuville, Andreas Mikkelsen and Dani Sordo. Elfyn Evans and Teemu Suninen will be trying to grab attention for M-Sport Ford. There are also a number of junior WR drivers and few historic characters making a preview.

With 100 special stages taking place across 14 countries, you’ll need to improve your skill and talent, not to mention your car to succeed.

A new dynamic weather system has been implemented into WRC 8 which throws a random element in to the proceedings. The different types of weather mean you’ll need to make sure you’re on point and you consider modified grips, car settings adjustments, tire selection optimization, and weather team relationship to ensure you’re fit for the road.

WRC 8 will be available in September 2019 on PlayStation4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
