X-Men Legends Reviews

A trio of new reviews for Activision and Raven’s X-Men Legends have surfaced, and once again they’re very positive. The first is at PGNx Media with an overall score of 8.4/10:

Raven Software took the X-Men franchise and appropriate molded it into a satisfying action RPG in its own right. The addition of the X-Men license and the unique characters and abilities that come with it is just icing on the cake, as the kids say.

The second is at GotNext with an overall score of 4.5/5:

I’ve been playing X-Men games since the earliest PC titles, which had all the gameplay of running into the enemy really hard. While some were immensely fun, like Capcom’s arcade contributions, they never gave me the feeling that I was actually reliving a true comic book adventure. Raven has finally given me that feeling, and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for X-Men Legends 2.

And the third is at Xbox Advanced with an overall score of 8.5/10:

Overall the game is the best X-men game I’ve ever played, good job Activision.
Unfortunately it does have its flaws, for starters the voice for Magma wasn’t too great, and occasionally my characters would fall through the map into the dark pit of death; also the AI for your teammates is horrible, I mean yeah they fight okay but they often clog up door ways or stand in my way and won’t move out of the way, so I often have to run backwards, call them and then run through the door.
