How to Fast Travel – Palworld

The island of Palworld is huge, and there is plenty to be explored in it. With such a large area, traveling around can feel daunting, especially when you’re first getting started. Luckily, there is fast travel to help! This guide will go over how to unlock and use the feature, so that you can zip around the islands with ease.

How to Unlock Fast Travel

While exploring the island, you will find structures called “Great Eagle Statues“, which glow orange for visibility. To activate them as a fast travel location, simply walk up to one and interact with it, causing it to turn blue. Once a statue has turned blue, it will function as an active fast travel location!

Additionally, when you make a base, your Palbox will act as another fast travel point. Because of this, makes sense to build your base somewhere without many Great Eagle Statues around.

How to Fast Travel

Once you have a couple of points unlocked, go to either one of your activated statues or your Palbox, and press the button assigned to Fast Travel (“C” on keyboard). From here the map will open up, and you will be able to travel to any of the blue icons on the map — the statues will have a bird icon, while your base’s icon will look like a building.

It’s important to note that you need to be at one of these points to fast travel. You can’t just warp to a point from anywhere on the map, as all fast travel is point-to-point. There is one exception to this, however.

Homeward Thundercloud

Once you reach level 30, you can learn an Ancient Technology called Homeward Thundercloud. This will cost 2 Ancient Technology Points to learn, and then it can be crafted with the following parts on a High Quality Workbench:

Once made, you can use this item to instantly travel to your closest base from just about anywhere — the only exception is that you can’t use it while inside of a dungeon. This is a great item if you need to make a quick trip to your base, and you’re in the middle of nowhere!

As you explore and upgrade your base, you’ll unlock more fast travel points and be able to warp to many different places on the map. This will let you travel all over Palworld in no time, so you can be wherever you want to be!
