Overview

1 – Burt

Once you’ve learned the Stories-Bones-Tell ability from Stale Mary in the Dead Nations (Exit C), you’ll be able to talk to Burt here, and he’ll tell you what happened to him, Gris (#2), and Lowden (#11).

2 – Crypt of the Embraced

Inside this crypt, when you approach the main sarcophagus three Ghouls will teleport into the room and ambush you. Killing them will earn you 2040 xp total. Then inside the sarcophagus, you’ll find the corpse of Gris, who you might have heard about in the Buried Village. After learning the Stories-Bones-Tell ability from Stale Mary in the Dead Nations (Exit C), you’ll be able to talk to Gris, and he’ll tell you two things of interest: that there’s a secret chamber in the Drowned Nations (which probably refers to your tomb), and that you can find Quint’s Poison Charm in a trash pile near Marta’s house in the Buried Village.

3 – Shattered Crypt

Inside this crypt, you’ll get attacked by over 20 Lesser Vargouilles worth 200 xp each. After defeating them, when you loot the crypt you’ll find Punch Daggers of Moorin and 510 coppers.

4 – Container

Inside the container here, you’ll find Tears of Sorrow.

5 – Crypt

Inside this crypt, you’ll find three Bandages, a Jar of Embalming Fluid, and more.

6 – Chad

After learning the Stories-Bones-Tell ability from Stale Mary in the Dead Nations (Exit C), you’ll be able to talk to Chad here, and he’ll ask you to kill the nearby Lesser Vargouilles (#9). After doing so, when you return to Chad you’ll earn you 3750 xp, and Chad will tell you where to find the Decanter of Endless Water in the Drowned Nations.

7 – Glyve

On the wall here, you’ll meet a stone face named Glyve. He’ll tell you some interesting things, including that you’re immortal because you “lack something essential,” and that “treachery awaits you.” Also, if you ask Glyve about himself, then he’ll inform you that he’s been cursed to remain in the stone face until he can drink fresh water. So he’ll ask you to track down a magical flask of water, and he’ll tell you that Chad (#6) might know where to find one.

After acquiring the Decanter of Endless Water in the Drowned Nations, when you let Glyve drink from it, you’ll earn 5000 xp, and Glyve will tell you that Nemelle in the Clerk’s Ward can help you to unlock the decanter’s full potential (which you’ll need if you want to recruit Ignus as a companion).

8 – Mosaic Crypt

Be careful with the crypt here, as it’s filled with traps. You’ll also find a locked sarcophagus in the crypt with an Enchanted Hammer and 212 coppers inside.

9 – Lesser Vargouilles

A trio of Lesser Vargouilles worth 600 xp will repeatedly spawn here until you’ve completed Chad’s quest (#6). So you might want to take your time helping him out.

10 – Coffin

Inside this coffin, you’ll find a Shamanic Rod.

11 – Crypt of Dismemberment

Be careful with the crypt here, as it’s filled with traps. But at the far end, you’ll discover a trapdoor leading down to the Under-Chamber, where you’ll find the corpse of Lowden plus a dead body holding a Severed Arm (Yours). After learning the Stories-Bones-Tell ability from Stale Mary in the Dead Nations (Exit C), you’ll be able to talk to Lowden, and you’ll learn that he set up Gris (#2) to die. If you take the severed arm to Fell’s Tattoo Parlor in the Hive Southeast, then you’ll unlock some new tattoos, plus possibly some dialogue involving Dak’kon.
