Bounty Tasks: Set 3 – Pillars of Eternity Quest

This guide is for a particular set of bounty quests in Pillars of Eternity. The guide has a walkthrough of the area, and a map with a legend.

Warden Fyrgen inside the Warden’s Lodge in Caed Nua will give you this set of four bounty tasks once you’ve completed the previous set.

Walkthrough

Bounty: Galen Dalgard

“Galen Dalgard, the slaver, and his friends have been spotted at Madhmr Bridge. None of the local authorities are willing to touch him because he’s got powerful connections back in Aedyr. But some nameless soul is willing to put coin down to see Galen breathes his last. Says it’s personal.”

You’ll run into Dalgard on the main road in the Madhmr Bridge area (#1). He’ll have slavers (fighters), priests, and taskmasters (casters) with him. As always, you should take out the priests and casters first and then mop up the rest. When Dalgard dies, he’ll drop an Exceptional Sword, Old Gerun’s Wall, and Galen Dalgard’s Head. When you deliver the head to Warden Fyrgen, he’ll give you your 2750 cp reward.

Bounty: Devwen

“I’m not sure what to make of this one. Something about a murderous cult of druids, led by a menpwgra. The creature goes by Devwen, and it looks like she and her followers have set up in a cave in the Northweald.”

You’ll find Devwen inside the cave in Northweald (#2). She’ll have some corrupter druids with her, so you’ll have to deal with some annoying spells. When Devwen dies, she’ll drop Devwen’s Head. When you take the head to Warden Fyrgen, he’ll give you your 2750 cp reward.

Bounty: Foemyna

“The ranger Foemyna has been waging a one-woman campaign of terror against travelers passing through Woodend Plains. Survivors report that she feeds her victims to the pack of wild animals that travel with her. A lot of folks would be glad to hear she’s been dealt with.”

You’ll encounter Foemyna on the eastern side of Woodend Plains, just off the road (#3). She’ll have some elder animals with her but no spellcasters, so the battle should not be difficult. When Foemyna dies, she’ll drop Exceptional Hide Armor, The Rain of Godagh Field, and Foemyna’s Head. When you deliver the head to Warden Fyrgen, he’ll give you your 2750 cp reward.

Bounty: Captain Muarumi

“Captain Muarumi mainly goes after Vailian vessels — and his crew just made landfall at Anslog’s Compass. Not sure how long he’s planning on staying, but this is your chance to take him down before he sets sail again.”

You’ll meet Muarumi in the cave in Anslog’s Compass (#4). He’ll have mostly melee fighters with him, plus an ondrite (priest). So take out the priest first and then finish off the rest however you want. When Muarumi dies, he’ll drop Pliambo per Casitas and Captain Muarumi’s Head. When you take the head to Warden Fyrgen, he’ll give you your 2750 cp reward.
