Walkthrough

1 – DROP AREA

You find yourself down to the Ancient Tomb, after you fall from the platform at area #8 of the Glim Gardens.

2 – STONE MOUTH

Upon entering this room you will have to fight 2 Master Shadows, 2 Ghasts and a Spectre. Defeat them and claim your price from the chest nearby. Inside you will find the Stone Mouth, a strange device that lets you understand the gargoyle language, and the Necklace of the Safe Footfalls.

3 – IDOLON

Fight 4 Skeleton Lords in this room to get another Idolon from the chest.

4 – SINGING WORD

A strange glowing chest if found in the middle of this room. Close the chest to prevent the light from coming out and a Master Spectre will attack you. Defeat it and head to the room to the east of here. There you will find a scroll that teaches you the Singing Word. The singing word is needed to open any door that is marked with the Glyph of Song (like the one in area #6).

5 – MAGICAL ITEMS

When you enter this room a dark naga will attack you. Dispatch him and take the Gauntlets of Ogre Size, the Boots of Tortoise and an amulet called Alaric’s Charm from the chests. Also search the room to the north to find a secret door. The door takes you to a new room where you find another chest. The chest contains a Blade of Destruction and the Arcane Mail. This armor is particularly good for sorcerers since it has its arcane failure reduced to 0%.

6 – GLYPH OF SONG

Use the Singing word you’ve learned from area #4 to open the door here and continue to area #7.

7 – STAIRCASE TO HALLS OF STONE

This set of stairs leads to area #10 of the Halls of Stone in a room sealed the Glyph of Song. Now that you know the word you can open the door there and continue forth.
