Walkthrough

1 – PATH TO SULLYMARSH

Following the path here will get you to Sullymarsh.

2 – GARGOYLES VS SHAMBLING GHASTS

In this area some Margoyles & Gargoyles are fighting a group of Shambling Ghasts. You can join the fight and dispatch them or let them kill each other.

3 – THIRSTY GROUND

This is the place where you find the Thirsty Ground, the Garden of Blood. This strange garden will talk to you as soon as you get near it. It will inform you that it can perform three rituals for you, each for a price though. The Blood Lesson, the Blood Blessing and the Fiona’s Kiss of Life. Each ritual requires you to give a sip of your blood but it’s worth it. See the results of the rituals below:

  • Blood Lesson: Cast Restoration at your party
  • Blood Blessing: Removes Bestow Curse from any member of your party
  • Fiona’s Kiss of Life: Resurrects dead party members.

This area is also full of Ghasts and Shambling Ghasts.

4 – STAIRS TO WINDRIDER GLADE

The stairs in this area take to Windrider Glade.

5 – SPINNING SPIRE

Another spinning spire here is guarded by several Skeleton Lords and Knights. Once again when you find all the missing planets of the Orrery you can travel back here using the Spires.

6 – COLD KNIGHT’S BARROW

Get down to the Cold Knight’s Barrow though the door in this area. Inside you will find Eadred, a level 8 Paladin. You can recruit him but you have to leave another party member behind. The character that touches the Great Sword on the altar will take Eadred’s place and Eadred will join your party. See more details about Eadred at the NPCs section.

7 – PASSAGE TO THE HALLS OF STONE

You can travel back down to the Halls of Stone from this door here. The passage will get you down to area #10 of the Halls of Stone behind the door with the Glyph of Song. You will learn the Singing word you need after you drop down to the Ancient Tomb at area #8.

8 – ANCIENT TOMB

When you get to the platform in this area, the platform will collapse and you will find yourself down to the Ancient Tomb. Once down there do not reload the game using the AUTOSAVE, but continue until you get out of there. If you reload from the AUTOSAVE at this point, you will stumble on one of the major bugs of the game. You will find your characters floating above the collapsed platform and you will no longer be able to enter the tomb unless you reload an earlier savegame.

Down there you will learn the Singing Word. You will also gain the Stone Mouth you need to understand the language of the Gargoyles. Check the walkthrough for the Ancient tomb for more details.

9 – BLUEGLOW MOSS

A Blueglow Moss is also found at the Glim Gardens so be sure to used it if you need healing.

10 – PATH TO HOUSE OF GEMS

Use the stairs near area #7 and continue north until you reach the House of Gems.

11 – PLINSHREE THE NAIAD

The first time you pass though this area there is nothing that you can do about the fountain in the middle. But after you restore the flow of the waters up to the House of gems (by destroying the spawn pool there) come back here and Plinshree the Naiad will talk to you asking for your help. She wants you to return the three missing waterbells to her. The waterbells can be found inside the 3 rooms that are sealed with the Glyph of Water down the Dwarven Dungeons.

When you have the waterbells return back here and place them into the fountain. Plinshree will reward you will a nice item for every waterbell you return. Here is what you get from doing so:

  • E’lenthe Waterbell – Dagger of Ritual
  • Shimuala Waterbell – Necklace of Odoacer
  • Jawhimushan Waterbell – Ring of Calming

You can also do this at a similar fountain down to the Halls of Stone.
