Walkthrough

1 – STAIRS TO GLIM-GARDENS

These stairs take you to the Glim-Gardens. The path at area #2 and this staircase are the only ways to travel to Windrider Glade for now.

2 – PATH TO SPECULUM GROUNDS

Follow this path to get to the Speculum Grounds.

3 – ODELINDE

No matter which path you choose to reach Windrider Glade (areas #1 & #2), the first time you get to the Glade Odelinde, the Guardian Naga, will address you in either areas. She will ask you to help her free the Temple of Shaundakul from the Orcs in area #4.

After you free the Temple Odelinde can be found there and can provide rest and healing for your party.

4 – TEMPLE OF SHAUNDAKUL

A large number of all kinds of Orc captured the Temple of Shaundakul, as Odelinde told you in area #3. Defeat them and smash the Orc Idol there to free the Temple and destroy the spawn pool. When you do that Odelinde will appear and thank you. She will also entirely heal you party and provide some information about Myth Drannor and how to reach Harldain Ironbar up to the House of Gems.

Every time you return here afterwards Odelinde will not only heal your party but provide rest without the need to sleep as well.

5 – FIREMEET CEREMONIAL KEY

Two Orc Warlords and an Orc Captain can be found here guarding two chests. Dispatch them and search the chests for an Idolon and the Firemeet Ceremonial Key. The key is needed to open the door at area #9.

6 – BAND OF ORCS

Nothing much here, you just have to face a group of Orcs lurking around these ruins.

7 – GARGOYLES

A few Gargoyles block the way down the stairs here. Defeat them to clear the path and continue forth.

8 – GARGOYLES VS ANCIENT ZOMBIES

Another battle between Gargoyles and Ancient zombies takes place here. Let them kill each other or join the fight and put them all to rest.

9 – PASSAGE TO THE HALLS OF LIGHT

Use to the Firemeet Ceremonial Key you obtained from area #5 to unlock this door and the way down to the Halls of light. Down there you will also be able to open the door in area #24 that could not be opened from the other side.

10 – RICIMET’S BARRIER

Three Margoyles guard the chests up here. The chests however contain nothing that you can use just an old banner. When you return from Spinning Spire at area #11 you will be attacked by 2 more Margoyles. Eventually they drop a nice small shield, Ricimet’s Barrier.

11 – SPINNING SPIRE

The spinning spire of the Windrider Glade is located here. This is one of the destinations of the Spires after you restore the Orrery.

12 – BRIDGE TO STILLWATER

Read the Signpost here to lower the Bridge and connect Stillwater with the rest of Myth Drannor.

13 – ORRERY PLANET

Passing through this area you will meet with a few Gargoyles. The strange thing is that these particular Gargoyles won’t attack you. In fact they are trying to speak to you. When you retrieve the Stone Mouth from the Ancient Tomb return here and the Gargoyles will talk to you. Soon after, the Gargoyle Tasklord will appear and he will attack you along with the other gargoyles there. They drop the Twisted Iron Key that unlocks the cage holding another Orrery planet. The cage is found on the ground there. Use the key to unlock it and free the Orrery planet.

14 – BRIDGE TO CASTLE CORMANTHOR

You cannot use the Bridge here to travel to the castle. You have to find another route to the castle. When you do reach the castle you will be able to lower the bridge from the other side and connect Windrider Glade with Castle Cormanthor.
