Stitched is a stylish and enjoyable horror-adventure game with some light RPG elements. It's not the most complex game out there, but it knows what it is and what it needs to do. Some of its features – like the fright meter – don't exactly hit, but that doesn't stop it from being a fun and reasonably priced little game.

Riptide GP: Renegade is a futuristic water based racing game that grabs your attention with its exciting visuals, a story mode that's a bit more engaged than you'd expect from a racing game, and plenty of stunts that not only look cool, but actually helps you go faster.

Those of you looking for some high-speed futuristic racing in the style of Wipeout and F-Zero will find plenty to like about Redout: Lightspeed Edition. With its sharp visuals, an extended career mode, unique ship design, an interesting progression system and handy power-ups, Redout is a great entry in the racing game genre.

Obliteracers is an excellent combat racing game with a variety of tracks and weapons, and with the ability to design your own car and character. It can be played solo or with up to 3 other racers in local multiplayer or 15 other racers in online multiplayer.

Soldiers of the Universe is a first-person shooter that fails in almost every way. The gameplay, story, graphics and sound are all subpar. This is a game to be avoided.

Stars in Shadow is a fun 4X game. It doesn't have flashy graphics or sound, but it gives you plenty of options for races and strategy, and it won't cost you an arm and a leg to try it out.

Yooka-Laylee for the PS4 follows in the footsteps of games like Banjo-Kazooie and Spyro the Dragon. Over the course of the game you'll be exploring colorful levels, unlocking new abilities, and collecting all sorts of stuff. And despite some rough edges and rather irritating mumbling as opposed to proper voice acting, the complete package should provide plenty of entertainment for most fans of the genre.

A vibrant action-adventure with its fair share of puzzles, Nine Parchments is Frozenbyte's follow-up to their inventive co-operative adventure that is Trine. And while it has some big shoes to fill, fill them it does thanks to a new perspective, fresh ideas, and the studio's signature magical visuals.

Judgment: Apocalypse Survival Simulation is a survival game where you'll be running a colony of survivors, managing resources, and fighting demons with the help of a combat system reminiscent of UFO: Enemy Unknown. It takes a while for the game to get going and reveal its more clever ideas to you, but when it does, it becomes quite enjoyable. It lacks some of the depth of the standout examples of this genre, but it will still easily keep you engaged for a few days.

Ginger: Beyond the Crystal is a by-the-numbers collectathon platformer bogged down by its lack of polish and excessive exposition. While it's not downright terrible, there's nothing particularly outstanding about it either.
