The latest installment in the series that can be considered the king of arcade racing games, Need for Speed Payback features an involved story mode, high-risk police pursuits, extensive car customization, and an open-world environment packed with numerous side activities. An overall solid racing game that goes that extra mile to keep its players engaged.

The free-to-play version of Battlerite excels at tense MOBA-style battles that reward personal skill. Its controls are tight enough to support the action, while its visuals are familiar yet unique. The F2P systems are reasonably fair here, while the matchmaking systems could use some work.

Music Puzzle does exactly what you'd expect – it turns musical tracks into challenging auditory puzzles. With each individual song offering about 15 puzzles in total, you'll be rearranging instruments, restoring the correct order of tracks, playing with sound waves, and more. The premise is simple, the puzzles are difficult, and the complete package is very satisfying.

Curse of Osiris, the first expansion pack for Destiny 2, is underwhelming and spreads itself too thin with repetitive linear arenas, samey boss fights, and some disappointing antagonists. But perhaps the biggest sin of this DLC is the fact that with it raising the power requirement of endgame activities, vanilla players who don't own the DLC can no longer access the content they previously were able to.

A reimagining of a classic open-world adventure for the latest generation of consoles, Outcast: Second Contact will task you with saving the Earth from a science experiment gone wrong. To do so, you'll be exploring a stunning-looking world, dealing with the natives from a parallel dimension, and solving a heap of side quests with the help of an impressive arsenal of weapons and gadgets. A great remake that lets you experience an often-forgotten gaming gem of old.

The second of the new generation of Battlefront games, Star Wars Battlefront II brings us a well-paced and engaging story campaign that revolves around an Imperial officer and features missions that are both on foot and in space. Beyond that, the game offers numerous Battle Scenarios putting you in the shoes of familiar characters, and both split-screen and online multiplayer. With plenty of single-player content and a heap of stuff to unlock in multiplayer, this is a game that will have you coming back for a long time.

Hexopods is an inventive, fast-paced, and tense top-down arena shooter for up to 4 players in couch co-op. The game's complex shooting mechanics make it a joy to learn, but its lack of online multiplayer severely limits its potential player base.

Expeditions: Viking is way more of a traditional RPG than Conquistador. It lacks some of the charm and spirit of adventure of the first entry in the series, but its roleplaying systems aren't deep enough to fully make up for it.

The PlayStation 4 release of Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse allows the console players to experience the 5th entry in the long-running point-and-click adventure series famous for its bright colorful visuals, sharp sense of humor, and clever interplay between its two protagonists.

Picking up right where the previous game left off, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will have your plucky team of cylinder-headed heroes fighting to foil the evil plans of Kang the Conqueror over the course of 20 extended missions full of puzzles and adventure. A certain degree of non-linearity, plenty of stuff to collect, and the trademark LEGO humour all make this a great entry in the LEGO series.
