Impactful, substantial, and capable of shedding new light on previously one-note characters, it's a great addition to the base game.

While it doesn't reach the heights of its legendary predecessor, Torment: Tides of Numenera is still a perfectly reasonable way to spend 40 hours for those of you who prefer interacting with unusual characters to fighting bad guys.

With its striking visual design and easy to learn but hard to master combat system, Arms is exactly the kind of fighting game Nintendo would make. Just keep in mind that in order to really get the hang of it, you'll need to be utilizing Switch's motion controls, which not everyone loves. The game could also use some additional form of progression.

The online functionality is solid and even has some ways to socialize with other players. The game's progression system keeps things fresh for a while. And just the basic fighting mechanics are well implemented.

A narrative-driven game utilizing the RPG Maker engine, Rakuen transcends genres or the humble tools used to create it in order to amaze us with a story full of wonder, joy, and sadness. Imaginative, emotional, and full of heart, Rakuen is a great experience you shouldn't let pass you by.
