The final chapter of Neocore Games' action RPG trilogy, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III feels more like a contractual obligation to have a trilogy than a satisfying conclusion to a series. It's dull, filled with bugs, and brings almost nothing new to the table. Approach it at your own risk.

Through the Woods is a survival-horror game based on Norse mythology. This review is based on the demo, which is filled with tension and atmosphere rather than guns and monsters. The demo does a good job of showing what the game might be.

Windward is a budget sea-faring MMO. You can sail your ship peacefully and deliver cargo, or you can take a more aggressive approach and hunt down pirates. The graphics are nice but the pace is slow, and there isn't a lot to do.

It's not as revolutionary as it thinks it is, but the level progression, unique gimmick, and servicable gameplay all make Hand of Fate worthwhile to at least consider.

NEO Scavenger attempts to infuse a roguelike RPG that's all about scavenging, surviving, dying, and trying again with an extra layer of story. But when all is said and done, the game's story bits are a bit too basic and feel more like a missed opportunity than meaningful addition.

A fine budget title that knows exactly what it is, Lords of Xulima has a nice character-building system and plenty of battles that put your characters to the test. But with all that fighting, its quests and story may have fallen by the wayside somewhat.
