The long-overdue return of the original post-apocalyptic RPG may not be as triumphant as some of us would've liked, but even so, Wasteland 2 is a solid title with plenty of branching content, colorful dialogue, and satisfying character development.

As far as attempts to revive the classic that is X-Com: UFO Defense go, Xenonauts exchanges some of the slickness and production values of XCOM: Enemy Unknown for heaps of old school charm. And that's nothing to sneeze at.

The largest and most interesting Darks Souls II DLC, Crown of the Ivory King provides a satisfying conclusion to the Lost Crowns trilogy that, viewed as a whole, is a truly incredible DLC that elevates the game it expands, even despite some questionable decisions and an occasional stumble.

Challenging, varied, and unique in that it lets us play as the bad guys, King's Bounty: Dark Side can still be a bit of a grind, while certain persistent technical and localization issues make it less enjoyable than it otherwise could've been.

The second piece of Dark Souls II DLC, Crown of the Old Iron King, matches the high expectations set by its predecessor, and, even despite some rehashed content, blows anything in the base game right out of the water.

While Quest for Infamy doesn't stray too far in terms of design from the Quest for Glory series that so clearly inspired it, its constant attempts at crude humor leave a lot to be desired, and at the end of the day, it doesn't bring anything new to the table.

The latest entry in the Risen series, Risen 3: Titan Lords is an iterative sequel that attempts to smooth out the series' rough edges, but only ends up losing some of the charm and depth its predecessors are known for.
