I Shall Remain Prologue Review

I Shall Remain is a zombie survival role-playing game that currently offers a free prologue. Unfortunately, in its current form there's little there to be excited about. However, all the components of an enjoyable action-RPG are there, so with enough work it can eventually turn into something decent.

Dungeons & Dragons: Heroes of Neverwinter Review

A freemium social game, Dungeons & Dragons: Heroes of Neverwinter manages to capture the fundamental fun of D&D and can be fun in short bursts. It is, however, quite shallow, and its most exciting feature – user-created dungeons – is hidden behind a wall you can only overcome by paying some hard-earned cash or grinding a lot.

Before the Echo (Sequence) Review

A unique title that combines rhythm games and RPGs, Sequence can be a lot of fun in short bursts. But should you strap in for the long run, it gets needlessly repetitive fast due to the excessive grinding required to get just about anything done.

Dungeon Overlord – Facebook Game Review

A send-up to the classic Dungeon Keeper, Dungeon Overlord actually manages to be as good as a FaceBook game could be. Despite its monetization (which feels mostly fair), the game is fun and enjoyable, exploiting the same joys as its spiritual predecessor.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Review

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim offers a huge open world with plenty to do in it, but it can all feel somewhat shallow, especially if you prefer your RPGs to have complex character builds and story-driven campaigns.

Drakensang: Phileasson’s Secret Review

The lone expansion pack to Radon Labs' Drakensang: The River of Time, Phileasson's Secret isn't too exciting, but it's decent enough if you approach it as part of the main campaign and not something you tackle exclusively after completing it.

Runespell: Overture Review

A puzzle RPG in the vein of Puzzle Quest that replaced combat with gem-matching puzzles, Runespell: Overture takes things one step further and lets us solve our disagreements with poker battles. Moreover, it's deep, strategic, and reasonably priced. If you like both RPGs and poker, you really should check this one out.

Star Wars: The Old Republic Beta Test Weekend 2

Upon further review, Star Wars: The Old Republic is a fun Star Wars themed MMO with enough differences from World of Warcraft -- including companions going on missions for you, and a space combat mini-game -- to make it worth playing.

Star Wars: The Old Republic Beta Weekend Review

Star Wars: The Old Republic is an MMO in the Star Wars universe. You can play Light Side or Dark Side or a mixture of the two. The graphics and voice acting are excellent, but under the hood the game might be too similar to World of Warcraft to add much excitement to your life.
