Skyrim Fansite Acquires GamrMe News Site

Skyrim Fansite

The acquisition of GamrMe was made in an effort to bolster the Skyrim Fansite’s “other gaming” section.

Over the 4th of July weekend, the Skyrim Fansite had the unique opportunity to acquire the GamrMe news site. GamrMe was founded by UK video game journalist Moyo G. back in 2013. It was Moyo’s ambition to provide useful information and commentary to gamers and fans worldwide who shared similar interests.

Skyrim Fansite Aquisition

The acquisition of an established website was made in an effort to bolster the Skyrim Fansite’s “other gaming” section. While our site’s focus will always be on Skyrim and the Elder Scrolls franchise, we feel it’s important to publish other gaming articles of interest to our readers. The purchase of GamrMe will provide an immediate boost to our “other gaming” section, allowing us to reach a wider audience of gaming fans who may not otherwise take part in our site.

Why GamrMe?

With all the gaming websites out there, why did we acquire GamrMe?

The short answer is that the website became available for sale. Work commitments and future projects prevented Moyo from maintaining the site as he wished. Rather than see the site languish, he felt it was in the site’s best interest to be taken over by us.

The better answer is that GamrMe is really a terrific site founded by a true fan just as passionate about video games as we are. The site’s content is unique (mostly written by Moyo himself), and is presented in a casual, well written style that fits nicely with ours.

The Future

Over the next few months, we’ll begin the process of integrating GamrMe into the Skyrim Fansite. There are no plans to change our site’s layout and design (something we already did last year), but you’ll definitely find more gaming articles in our site’s archives.

Again though, let me reassure you that we are first and foremost the Skyrim Fansite, committed to celebrating and promoting the world’s greatest video game franchise. Elder Scrolls now and forever. Fus Ro Dah!
