Though this title does exhibit gorgeous visuals, the first-person combat can be clunky at times (especially when turning 180 degrees). In addition, there are frequent long loading screens that break up the continuity of the adventure.

Still, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is the first great RPG for the Xbox 360 and sets quite a high standard for others to follow.

It doesn’t matter if you love the Elder Scrolls series or are simply an RPG enthusiast, Oblivion is well worth your money.
