1 – Cave

Background

You’ll receive this quest from a wine merchant outside a cave in Toussaint South (#1).

Walkthrough

The wine merchant will tell you that the cave would make an excellent place for aging wine, only it’s “full o’ noise” and the clerk he sent in to investigate hasn’t come back yet. Inside the cave, you’ll find the body of the clerk, two level 43 gargoyles, and a few chests to loot. After defeating the gargoyles, when you return to the merchant, he’ll pay you your negotiated fee, and you’ll earn 150 xp for completing the quest. The merchant will also turn into an actual merchant, with some food and alcohol for sale.
