This guide is a walkthrough of a side quest in the Witcher 3 for the area of White Orchard. The guide is composed of a map, map legend, and walkthrough to show readers exactly where to go and what to do to complete the quest.

1 – Abandoned Camp

Background

You’ll trigger this treasure hunt when you pick up the Scrawled Notes from the abandoned camp north of White Orchard (#1).

Walkthrough

The Scrawled Notes will mention that bandits have been bleeding the peasants dry, and that they have a camp somewhere nearby. You’ll find the camp to the east (#2). There will be several deserters there, including a level 4 deserter leader with a shield. You’ll probably have to use strong attacks to defeat him.

Once you’ve cleared out the deserters, you’ll find three treasure chests in the leader’s tent. Looting these chests will complete the treasure hunt.
