This guide is a walkthrough of a side quest in the Witcher 3 on the Skellige Isles. The guide is composed of a map, map legend, and walkthrough to show readers exactly where to go and what to do to complete the quest.

Background

You’ll trigger this quest by reading the Unsent Letter found at a Hidden Treasure site south of the Eldberg Lighthouse in Ard Skellig (#1).

Walkthrough

The letter will indicate that a ship filled with treasure sank nearby. You’ll discover the ship off the coast to the east (#2). When you dive down to it, you’ll find a treasure chest containing a leveled version of the steel sword Inis plus more. Looting the chest will complete the quest.
