1 – The Maestro

Background

You’ll trigger this quest automatically after completing the quest Fists of Fury: Toussaint.

Walkthrough

For this quest, you’ll have to defeat the Maestro in a boxing match so you can become the Brawl Master of Beauclair. You’ll find the Maestro — aka the Drunken Master — in the northeastern part of the city (#1). To trigger the fight and to make your bet (up to 150 crowns), you’ll need to talk to the bookie next to him. However, the Maestro will refuse to fight you unless you’re drunk. There isn’t any way around this.

To beat the Maestro, you’ll just need to stay away from him. The closer he is to you, the more he’ll jab, but the farther away he is, the more he’ll try roundhouses, which are easier to counterattack. So just back away and counterattack until he goes down. For defeating the Maestro, you’ll receive the Fist Fighting Championship Trophy (which can be used as a decoration at Corvo Bianco), double the crowns you bet, and 200 xp.

Note: Defeating the Maestro will also earn you the Valor virtue for the quest There Can Be Only One.
