Overview

1 – Illusionary Rocks

To dispel this illusion, you’ll need to use The Eye of Nehaleni, which you’ll pick up during the quest Wandering in the Dark.

2 – Golem

You’ll encounter a level 14 golem here.

3 – Circular Chamber

At this spot you’ll discover a circular chamber surrounded by statues. Each statue will have a lever next to it, and pulling the levers will rotate the statues. If you rotate the statues so that they’re all looking into the chamber, then the floor of the chamber will open up, revealing a pool with three drowners inside. At the bottom of the pool, you’ll find a Laboratory Key, which will allow you to unlock a door in the main chamber (#6). You’ll also find Research Notes next to the chamber.

4 – Crumbling Wall

You’ll need to use your weapon or Aard to break through this wall.

5 – Treasure Chest

You’ll find a random treasure chest here, with an Invoice for a Golem on the floor next to it.

6 – Locked Door

You’ll need the Laboratory Key (#3) to open this door.

7 – Mad Kiyan

Mad Kiyan is a former witcher (possibly now possessed by a demon) who can use signs. He’s considered a human, so you should use your steel sword on him. When Kiyan dies, he’ll drop a leveled version of the silver sword Moonblade, a Laboratory Notebook, and diagrams for Feline ArmorFeline BootsFeline Gauntlets, and Feline Trousers.
