I have been working at Sony since 1995 and have worked on various PS2 and PC titles. Working on console games is always a challenge, and Return to Arms has proven to be quite an undertaking. With a short development cycle we have been very focused on schedules and features.

Will Champions of Norrath 2 feaure more recognizable areas from the EverQuest PC titles? What are some of the changes and improvements between the enviorments in the first title and the second.

 We will continue to have locations that EQ players will be familiar with, however the areas will tend to look different than they do in the PC version. Some of the familiar locations in Return to Arms that can also be found in the EQ PC are as follows; Plane of Fire, Plane of Water, Plane of Valor, Faydark, and Plane of Storms. We have removed the random dungeon generations in favor of adding more detail and better lighting to all of the levels. We are also introducing weather effects (rain, snow, and lightning) to the game. The new environments are spectacular looking and continue the excellent standard we have come to expect for the Champions series.
