Overview

1 – Gates to Atrox Deep

If you want to visit the secret area in Atrox Deep (#3), then you’ll need to open both of these gates at the same time. To do this, pull the first lever to open the first gate, then shoot the second lever to close the first gate and open the second gate, and then pull the first lever to open the first gate again.

2 – Coded Gate

You’ll find the code for this gate on the sign nearby: 7611.

3 – Prison Cell

This prison cell is a secret area. You’ll get sent here if you say the wrong thing to Baelgar in the Gildedmoon Repository (#4). To escape from the cell, you’ll need to defeat a Spineback Basilisk, which will drop an Advanced Key. The key will allow you unlock the door to the cell. However, to escape from the prison, you’ll need to have opened the entrance gates (#1, #2) beforehand.

There isn’t any way to enter the perimeter prison cells.

4 – Baelgar

Baelgar is the guard for the Gildedmoon Repository. To get him to open the entrance gate, you’ll need to show him a Gildedmoon Pendant. If you don’t, then he might send you to the prison cell in Atrox Deep (#3). It’s possible to kill Baelgar (he only has 300 hit points), but the only way you’ll survive is if you let him open the entrance gate first, and then attack him from inside the repository. Otherwise, the explosion he triggers when he dies will kill you as well.

Note: If you’re playing version 1.0 of the game, then you shouldn’t kill Baelgar. If you do, then the entrance gate will close when you leave the repository, and you won’t have any way to open it back up.

5 – Treasure Cell 7

You’ll need Gildedmoon Pendant 7 (from the lower level of the Seawarden’s Guild) to unlock this cell. Inside you’ll discover a chest containing Copper Scale Boots, a Copper War Hammer, Crush – Smash – Destroy (the bludgeoning skill book), Hemp Armor, a Potion of Invisibility III, and a Potion of Ogre Strength.

6 – Treasure Cell 10

You’ll need Gildedmoon Pendant 10 (from the goblin camp in the Oceana Lowlands) to unlock this cell. Inside you’ll discover a chest containing a Bloodstar Pendant, a Luminous Ring, a Rai Amulet, a Scroll of Ice Lance, and a Scroll of Mystic Hammer.

7 – Treasure Cell 13

You’ll need Gildedmoon Pendant 13 (from the red ceramic jar in the back room of Baizel’s house in the Elderoak Forest) to unlock this cell. Inside you’ll discover a chest and a green ceramic jar containing some reagents, a Chromium Spring Widget (which you’ll need in Omentor Temple), and a Potion of Restoration.

8 – Treasure Cell 22

You’ll need Gildedmoon Pendant 22 (from a chest in the Ruined Castle Dungeon) to unlock this cell. Inside you’ll find a huge pile of gold worth about 1500 gp.

9 – Gate to Master Warren’s Chamber

To open this gate, you’ll need to pick up the Diamond Key from Master Warren’s crypt in the Eastern Astral Range. The key will unlock the lever next to the gate, and the lever will open the gate, allowing you to go inside.

10 – Master Warren’s Chamber

Inside this chamber you’ll find four random chests, one chest containing Bittersting, and piles of gold worth up to 4000 gp. You’ll also find a red ceramic jar containing a variety of gems, including two Pearls. You’ll need Bittersting for the quest The Curse of Bittersting.
